Musical mawwiage

Many congrats to my newlywed friends, Erik and Cheryl Steighner! Erik is a friend of mine from high school, his father is Hood River’s premier music educator and one of my most influential teachers. I met Cheryl today for the first time and it is clear that they are meant to be together as life partners. And she plays the tuba, how cool is that? May the two of them always remain as happy and in love as they are from this beautiful day forward.
Their wedding in the Musuem of Glass furnace tower was sweet, egalitarian, and wonderful. Pics from their wedding are up. How I wish I had a telephoto lens and a tripod to correct the fuzzy and faraway shots but it there are some good ‘uns admist the fuzzy ‘uns.
We are having fun in Seattle with Kat and Justin. Tomorrow is an 11 mile training run with Kat or as far as we feel comfortable doing so. Weeeee!
Update: Fourteen additional photos were just added to the gallery. Somehow they missed getting uploaded…
Hey Rachel–Nice seeing you at the wedding and thanks for posting these so soon! All I took was video. Now I have a brand new desktop image!
MS
MS: you’re welcome and it was great to see you too!
I got the idea from a friend of ours who posted some photos from our wedding the next day. It was really nice to see some images from our wedding so soon afterwards and not have to wait a month for the professional photos to process. Erik and Cheryl will be sure to appreciate the video footage that you took as well!
Rachel!
